joke or real?

Is this for real or a gag? I honestly don't know. (You might have to click it in order to read the larger version.)

If it's legit, it actually might work. At least it would give guys a good ice breaker.

the taxman cummeth

The English language press has completely missed the news about porn legend Rocco Siffredi in deep anal trouble with Italian tax authorities. It's a massive, throbbing story in Europe right now. One article refers to him as the "pornodivo"; I guess the female equivalent is pornodiva.

Siffredi, who has been inside more girls' rectums than a busload of proctologists, is accused of concealing roughly $442,500 in income from the Italian treasury by setting up fictitious companies in tax havens.

The well endowed legend was a resident of Italy until he relocated to Hungary a few years ago, his wife’s native country. (Yes, he's married with a very traditional family, and Mrs. Siffredi is aware of his occupation.)

This move is being contested by Italian financial authorities, who allege Siffredi’s economic activity is still based in Italy because he purchases expensive cars and motorcycles there.

If you're not familiar with Rocco's work, you can see an example here.

pornhub has turned to crap

Free porn video sharing pages are some of the most valuable properties on the Internet today. Some sites like Xtube, Xvideos, Redtube, and YouPorn rate in the top fifty sites accessed daily worldwide. They each garner millions of hits.

When it started, Pornhub.com was an efficiently run website that often landed in the top fifty sites based on traffic. Over the past six months or so, it has steadily slid downhill both in quality and market share. Many functions on the site no longer work. It seems like the management just decided, "fuck it, we're making so much money, who cares if our site now sucks."

Valuable Internet properties can quickly be rendered obsolete by bad management decisions. eBay is a perfect example of that. I guess Pornhub is determined to run their site into the ground, too.

As much as porn needs a massive infusion of creative talent, it also needs some fresh business brains. Surely some of those financial wizards from Wall Street who are now unemployed could revolutionize the business and make a ton of money in the process.

duct tape bondage

So this is another one of those kinks I don't get. The first one is a woman; the other two are men.

Both my husband and I really like light bondage, where one partner is restrained but still has plenty of body movement so both can enjoy sex. I totally get that. You can feel your partner undulating and writhing as you have at it, but the bondage creates all sorts of teasing and controlling games.

So what's the fun in duct tape bondage where you can't move a fraction of an inch? Besides, duct tape smells funny.

honest tattoo?

Maybe this is just a disarming technique. Maybe he's really hung like a horse, and this is a way to trick women in going back to his place.

fun for the whole family

Yes, you can turn awkward humiliation into a payday! This is real, not fake, a recent contest in select Commonwealth countries. I'll bet those wedding photos were just extra special!

red dawn

Unfortunately, no HNT this week. You may have read about our surreal red dust storm here in Sydney. As a result, we were gone from the house assisting elderly neighbors, so no time remained to concoct one of my increasingly elaborate cybertrails.

When we woke up and looked outside, I thought there was a bad fire somewhere nearby, but there was no odor of burning or smoke. The blue sun was a bit freaky, too.

there's something about stoya

I find the hot altporn actress Stoya quite interesting. While she tends to wear eclectic eye makeup and has hair of many different colors, she doesn't cake on the cosmetics with a trowel like so many porn starlets. The fact that she has natural breasts and milky-white skin that hasn't been braised in a tanning bed adds to her striking look. She's something of the un-porn pornstar.

She also seems really to like sex and is having fun making movies. From what I've read about her, she's something of a quirky character. If she's smart, she'll do porn a few more years and then segue into something different and interesting. Her fresh innocence with a splash of the punk rebel works for her, but it won't in five or ten years. She reportedly dates Marilyn Manson, so that could open some doors for her.

I showed a clip of her to my husband, and he agreed she's quite distinctive. If you watch the video below, be forewarned it's a bit "arty" in the beginning with deliberately grainy faux-vintage footage, but that soon ends. It also opens with an extended lesbian sequence before the gentleman appears.

verbal seduction

"All really great lovers are articulate, and verbal seduction is the surest road to actual seduction." --Marya Mannes

I stumbled on this quote recently, which I've posted on my Tumblr site. I'd never heard of Marya Mannes, so I looked her up and learned she was a successful magazine writer in the mid-twentieth century.

Whatever her qualifications to write about seduction, I believe she's right on the money here. When I think back to the various men who got into my panties, they were fucking me with words before I removed a stitch. They weren't course nor blunt, not cocky nor arrogant. They usually weren't even talking about sex at all.

They were, however, so into me, so easily intimate with their words, whatever the subject, that they closed the deal before the subject of sex was even broached. They weren't necessarily flirting or teasing, but that can be made to work the right way (and the wrong way, too).

This ability, I think, is probably almost innate. I suspect it's also nearly impossible to either teach or learn. Confidence has a great deal to do with it. Perhaps you're born with it, a result of something in your genetic soup, like perfect pitch.

One cannot be articulate, however, without intelligence. The man must be able to express himself well, thus he needs to be educated in order to have something meaningful to say. That doesn't mean a formal education; some very articulate men I've met dropped out of school quite young. They continued their studies, however, on their own. Their learning never stops.

Do women have this capability? I don't think it really matters that much, in all honesty. Women usually don't have a hard time talking men into bed. As long as you're not too pushy and let them think they had the idea first, men are usually good to go. As to whether they're great lovers, I couldn't be the judge of that. For what it's worth, I've never had any complaints -- I never had a man turn me down when I said I wanted to see him again.

sophia

I was just looking up something in IMDb and saw it was Sophia Loren's 75th birthday yesterday. She's had such a fascinating personal life. I've read that she's an incredibly warm and kind person. Considering her background -- growing up a bastard in the slums of Naples -- she never forgot where she started.

fucking machines

Does anybody really get off on this? They must, because there are a lot of these machine sex sites out there. But it's just so, er, uh, mechanical.

You could not pay me enough to allow a machine to ram something in and out of my snatch. I've seen too many washing machines and garage door openers go haywire, thank you.

tv tattoo hall of fame

In honor of the Emmys this weekend, I present another addition to the TV Tattoo Hall o' Fame, the Bob Barker Price Is Right commemoration. By slapping it on your arm, you're guaranteed to let everyone know on a warm day while you're in short sleeves how much of a mistake you've made.

Bob joins previous TV famers, The Golden Girls tattoo and the Married With Children tattoo. Somewhere out there, is there possibly a Charles in Charge tatt? A 21 Jump Street? A Blossom?

puzzles within puzzles

Yesterday's HNT was more complex than most people realized. Only two reached the ultimate goal -- D and Sheen V.

D figured it out so quickly I almost wonder if I know you (and yes I mean that in the Biblical sense). Don't be shy D (if you indeed are the one with the butterfly tattoo on his buttock).

The D in question seems quite conservative and temperate by day; in fact, you're most likely to encounter him in traffic court after he issued you a special invitation during a roadside meet-and-greet. That butterfly and the real man who wears it are entirely hidden. After hours, however, D is an entirely different story and that butterfly soars.

D and I share a very interesting history and, as a result, he will always have a special place in my heart. I should write more about him but now if, indeed he has found my blog, I should ask his permission first.

Edited to update: Well, two more have solved the puzzle within puzzle, O'Douchebag Rules and someone who only identified as "anonymous."

I made this week's Half-Nekkid Thursday puzzle trickier than the previous one. Can you find your way to the prize?

I will not be reading The Lost Symbol

I know I'm not alone in saying that I think Dan Brown's novels are over-praised. I've read three of them, and I have no plans to read his latest opus, which surely will sell tens of millions of copies.

I'm sorry, but I just don't think he's a very good writer. I thought his first novel, Digital Fortress, was pretty close to awful. I do not like thrillers where the readers are told things before the characters learn them, so we spend endless pages watching them figure out something we already know.

I read two more of his books, including The DaVinci Code, because friends raved about them but was not impressed. I felt in all his books the characters were wooden and one-dimensional and most of the novels are just plot for plot sake. Centuries-old conspiracies that no one ever manages to discover are just not believable, in my humble opinion.

In short, uninteresting people running through complex labyrinths searching for clues simply hidden to make a complex plot does not make for interesting reading, from my perspective. There are far better novels out there to read and enjoy. I will spend my time with them.

Laura Miller at Salon and Anthony Lane at The New Yorker both wrote withering critiques of The DaVinci Code that have been widely circulated by non-fans of Brown's writing (click on the links to see them, if you've not already). After reading both of those again before writing this post, I feel reassured about not being impressed by the emperor's new clothes.

I wonder if either or both will be reading The Lost Symbol. I suspect not.

happy birthday Amy Winehouse

Birthday greetings to Amy Winehouse, who turned twenty-six on Monday. I don't think Amy reads this blog, so I can be candid.

Will this woman live past thirty? I'd call that doubtful. Her ex has said she smokes crack on stage and nearly died of an overdose in 2007. The BBC has reported she already has emphysema.

boob jab

I was reading recently about the so-called "Boob Jab," a procedure rising in popularity whereby women have temporary gel injections of their breasts which act like an enlargement. The substance used is called Macrolane, and the enhancement lasts twelve to eighteen months before it must be "refreshed."

The upsides are that the procedure can be done within an hour with no surgery and cheaper plus has a more natural look than implants. The downsides are that Macrolane has not been widely tested and has caused breast hardening and malformation.

I don't know about you, but those downsides would be enough to scare me off this procedure immediately. When I worked as an exotic dancer, I was regularly pressured to have my boobs done because that would significantly increase my income; however, I wasn't interested in the long-term detriments. Here's a horror story in The Times written by a woman who was quite unhappy with her Macrolane procedure.

Ruth Madoff unvarnished

The latest issue of Vanity Fair magazine has an in-depth profile of Ruth Madoff. It's fascinating reading and the latest of several details articles they've run that dig behind the scenes into the private life of the man who masterminded the largest swindle in history. Even if the business aspects of the saga bore you, the personal stuff is riveting.

I wonder if we'll ever know the truth about Ruth. What did she know and when? Sometimes I admire her for standing with her husband -- love conquers all. She loves the man, not the criminal. If she didn't know the truth, however, I believe she has to do something important with the rest of her life to make amends for having benefited from the fruits of his crime.

On a semi-related note, this whole sordid story out of the Malibu Colony is a curious footnote on the whole Madoff mess (with an interesting update here).

birthblogiversary

Today is my one-year blog anniversary and also my twenty-fourth birthday. I'm pre-posting this, given I'll be gone much of the day because we have an outing planned, and then Darling Husband is taking me to dinner and dancing.

How much my life has changed for the better since this time last year. I was in a good place on my last birthday, having recently met James, but I was coming out of some pretty bad stuff, too. In contrast, the last twelve months have been a period of blissful happiness.

I love my big wonderful man more and more every day. He turned out to be everything I hoped for and ten times more. I will spare you all any detailed mush save to say he has firmly convinced me with time that it was our destiny to meet and fall in love. He truly is the perfect man for me. I am so much stronger because of him.

Where will we be one year from today? Who knows? That's one of the many thing I love about him. He thinks about the future but doesn't obsess on it. Like the boxer he once was, he rolls with the punches.

library vixen resurfaces

Like many of her fans, I was saddened at the sudden disappearance recently of Library Vixen, a popular erotic blogger. If you're not familiar with her excellent journal, she is the personification of the naughty librarian -- she's a highly literate and hypersexual woman who can also help you in the reference shelves.

For reasons unknown, Blogger suspended her blog the other day. Several different error messages have appeared, including "this blog is in violation of Blogger's Terms of Service and is open to authors only" and "this blog is under review due to possible Blogger Terms of Service violations and is open to authors only." I hope they've given her notice of whatever the problem is and also a chance to remedy it.

Meanwhile, her Tumblr page is still steaming along with a wide variety of superb erotic imagery, an example of which is below. And, she's apparently starting a new blog which hopefully will be very active soon.
