Thank you but count me out. That just seems too insecure. Jewelry can be lost or stolen. You wouldn't wear your credit card on an elastic band around your wrist because it would be too insecure. Credit card jewelry is no different.
I always always always insist on a receipt when paying by credit card. I have no problem with self-checkouts at stores, where I use my card. But I make damn sure to always get a receipt.
Why? Because on rare occasion, you can be charged the wrong amount on your account. I have no idea how this happens, but it's happened twice to me. Because I had a receipt, I was able to get the charge corrected.
But if you're waving fingers and wrists over a scanner, are you getting a receipt? Do you even know how much you've been charged? My husband and I stayed in a hotel not too long ago and I discovered a hidden charge while paying for the bill, which I promptly had removed. Had I been paying with my jewelry, I might not have known that.
